The Opportunity

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will expand our market presence and drive revenue growth within the specified region.  This is a results-driven position and as a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their unique needs, and effectively positioning our solutions to meet those needs. Your ability to build strong customer relationships and drive sales will be crucial to your success in this role.
 

Your Responsibilities

 

1. Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target groups in your assigned territory.

  • Identify key decision-makers within each dealer group and tailor sales strategies to their specific needs and preferences.

  • Prioritize accounts based on revenue potential and likelihood of success in achieving your monthly quota.  


2. New Business Development:

  • Prospect and qualify leads within the target market segment to generate new business opportunities.

  • Utilize a combination of cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events to engage potential customers.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of our SaaS offerings.


3. Account Expansion and Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities to expand our footprint within existing customer accounts, focusing on all accounts under the parent group.

  • Collaborate with account management and customer success teams to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Present additional products or features that align with customer needs and drive incremental revenue growth.


4. Relationship Building and Management:

  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with all existing dealer groups.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealership owners, executives, and department heads.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact; along with customer success, for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to help them achieve their business objectives.


5. Sales Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead negotiations with prospects and existing customers to finalize contract terms, pricing agreements, and service-level commitments.

  • Overcome objections and address customer concerns to facilitate deal closure and achieve monthly quota targets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal and finance, to expedite the contract approval process and ensure compliance with company policies.


6. Pipeline Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue projections.

  • Track sales activities, including prospecting efforts, meetings, and follow-ups, using CRM tools.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to sales management, highlighting key metrics, pipeline trends, and areas for improvement.


7. Continuous Learning and Professional Development:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to automotive SaaS solutions.

  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and industry events to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

  • Take ownership of personal and professional development goals to continuously improve performance and drive career growth within the organization.
